Your discussion of "Falling" definitions reminded me of the comedian, Wanda Sykes' rebuttal to trickle-down economics: "Nothing good ever trickles down".

Many other people beat me to commenting on the brilliance of your "falling" analysis. Now I'm going to land up thinking all day about other examples--like that tune from some Broadway hit show you just can't get off your brain! Very nice.....

I dreamed last night that my editor from the Wall Street Journal, whom I added to the roster of subscribers, wrote to me and said, "This is entirely inappropriate." I woke up in a cold sweat. But then again, maybe I'm on to something....
