Condolences on being a scam victim AND the dust-up with IG.
And kudos for resolutions!
I enjoyed the wild and unfettered designs and surely think Art does not have to be on canvas, etc. OR not useful such as wearable. Those restrictions are archaic.
Re IG I was bounced off for some unknown crime that is not possible since I almost never visited and never posted. The only solution required me to take a 'selfie' with my driver's license in it and I simply declined.
I'll never know how I was hacked or scammed so FB will still be my online gathering place. Curious about the new Blue Sky.
Glad you are well and thriving and tackling the assaults - Super Woman!
This post is spectacular, Ann! Thank you for enriching my life. Yes, scammers prey on us all the time; skepticism has become my modus, alas. I hope you are feeling better….
Your week sounds horrendous. I am glad you got the money back. But sad you lost IG. SO MUCH FRUSTRATION 😍
The sculptures as clothes are fascinating. I had a very gifted student when I taught at HAM, Lora Hudicka who created clothes out of incongruous materials. I had many photos but they are not organized in a way to be able to access them. She showed a few at HAM years ago. If you want to see I will try to find her website
Thanks, Bascha. The only Lora Hudicka I can find online is director of entrepreneurial studies at Rider University in NJ, but maybe she was once an artist.

Thanks, Janice. I've heard of Blue Sky, but haven't checked it out.
Perhaps we'll meet there one day! Or here to report our findings....
All the best, J
Costumes as sculptures make sense, it’s an object that is seen and it’s another way to engage the senses.
Beautiful work!!!! I am so sorry to hear about the scam--sounds dreadful.
